This is a scene from 'Poison' by Chris Wooding, done for an art project.  Poison has to complete a task for the Phaerie lord to get her sister back, and is sent to steal a valuable dagger from the palace of Asinastra, Lady of Cobwebs, who rules the Realm of Spiders.

This is done in pan and ink, with a pencil sketch first.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ART ON POISON FOREVER!!!!!!! YAY I FOUND IT!!!! Wow, that is a lot like i pictured id.

I would love to see you draw Scriddle (is that how you spell it? I listened to it on tape, so IDK)

:-) Sarah Fogg replies: "Happy to be of service. I’m glad you like it so much, and yes, that is how you spell Scriddle. He wasn’t in enough key scenes to make it in to my project, but I may well have a go since my summer holiday this year is about two and a half months long."

Yes, scriddle would be interesting.... he is so deliciously evil......

:-) Sarah Fogg replies: "He is indeed. Tricky to draw though without making him look like Mr Darling from Peter Pan. (The skinny one, not the fat Disney guy)."

LOL

You say you were born in the wrong decade? I was just born in the wrong place. I love historical big cities, yet i live in a state with no towns large enough to be called a city. oh well.

21 Sarah Fogg replies: "Having been born and grown up in Cambridge, England, there is not one city in the whole USA that seems historical to me. Nothing anywhere in the US is more then 200 years old, that’s considered fairly recent over here. "

I like our "old" and such but I always wanted to live in an old city in France. That is where my family is from so i always wanted to see the cities that my ancestors lived in. Sadly i am stuck in the middle of Wyoming. ) :

:-) Sarah Fogg replies: "I’m sure you won’t be stuck there forever."
