Hi! I'm Sarah, obviously, I was born, bred and still live in the fens in England where its incredibly flat and the skies are beautiful even when its raining. I love to read, and since I was young the family went to historic places all around the UK or days out and holidays. It's probably because of these things that I love the vampire genre - even when I was little I liked the little bloodsuckers - though I am interested in High Fantasy, the world building aspect really appeals to me. I used to love drawing maps and creating whole races with histories and stories - yeah me and Tolkein. My love for art and seeing not just reading fantasy which is how I came about this place. I decided it was finaly time to take things out of their hiding places and show them to the world, which is scary all by itself. Enjoy, and be nice.

Update quote:- "No artist is ever morbid. The artist can express everything." - Oscar Wilde

Update (sent 17th Feb 2006) - I've gotten rid of Edatchi  because a) my library looked cluttered and b) no one commented. I have also revised 'A-foul of A Fairy'... please tell me what you think. =)

Update (sent to mods 24th Mar 2006) - A new short piece. 'Encounter' was just something I cooked up.

Update new edited versions of 'The Hunter' and 'Encounter' - I appologise for the duplications and any errors which may have occured though I have no idea what's going on! lol

Hullo! I'm that person who reviewed your 'Vampire Masks (coloured)' piece, remember? Ok well anyway, I really do want to read some of your work... but I don't know which one to begin with. So, which one is it? *looks 'round quickly* I don't want to happen upon a sequel or something before reading the first one...

2 Sarah Johanesen replies: "Depends on who you want to read about. Amiee and Natalia have yet to be posted, BUT Melissa is in 'Turning in Tuscany', then 'The Blade's Bite' and 'Fall of Fire'. William is in 'The Blade's Bite' and 'Fall of Fire'. If you want Philippe or Catherine they're in 'Born to Blood'. You can read them out of chronological order but that's the way they were written for. And not much of my overall plan is revealed... yet."

Hey, surfin the net and got bored so I thought I would check out your page. Still think you are quite sickingly talented (DAMN YOU) but I luv ya all the same. I'm gonna go and read some of your stories now. See you on Monday!

1 Sarah Johanesen replies: "Do you need some medicine? You really should have a look around, try the guided tours, some people are soooo much better than me. May I suggest Stephanie Pui Min Law (sp?) for art... she is soooo good!"

I checked out Doc Seven out of Ten -- I can’t locate its name. Do you see what I see there? I’m seeing double overlays of the site art -- the interlace bands, this comment window and everything else from Elfwood. Very strange, and makes it difficult to read. As I said, I can’t find the title there. Also, I couldn’t post a comment on either of the two Comment windows there.

:-) Sarah Johanesen replies: "Yeah I’m seeing the same problems you are... shudder, I’ve let Elfwood know, I have a feeling that they’ve duplicated the html format, but I’m a complete Techy-noob so I have no idea!! =) Thanks for letting me know!"

’Encounter’ is the title. Also, for obvious reasons, I’m curious about LKH. What’s that?

:-) Sarah Johanesen replies: "lol LKH stands for Laurell K Hamilton, she’s the author of the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Series, a series once well-loved by me and still-loved by many others! I’m ashamed to admit I pretty much ’’stole’’ her ideas on Human Servants - but as this is never going to print it hardly matters!!!"
