My great-grandfather’s brother came to Evanston from Smaszew - little village in Poland. Teir names were: Ludwig, Teofil, Jozef and Stefan. My great-grandfather - Adam - became in Poland. Greetings from Poland - Maggie P.S. Sorry for my english.. Sarah Rae Kurczodyna replies: "Actually, my family is very into genealogy. If you could give me your email, I bet we could get a lot done. | 2 Jun 2008 | Julia Haynes | Loading...I know this message is kind of out of the blue, but I think we must be related somehow. My great-grandfather was Stefan Kurczodyna. He moved to Chicago, IL with his wife, Walentyna, and their son, my grandfather, Raymond. My mother’s middle name is ’Rae’ as is my sister’s. (My mom always said it was a family name.) I know you didn’t intend for this to become the family meeting place, (you are very talented) but reading the comment posted from Maggie in Poland sent shivers up my spine. If you are interested, you can email me at jarlana815@gmail.com. Keep up the good work and I hope to hear from you soon! Julia
