Tag As FavoriteComment		2005-12-26: So. There. Coloured and finished, and the tail visible. Shapeshifting troll on his way to visit human lands, and yes, for those of you who wondered: the sun has just set.

Watercolour pencils are always a bit hazardous. Either, one has to accept the slight spottiness caused by the grain of the paper, or risk the colours to change dramatically in water. I chose the first option. But I like his outfit. More Viking era to the woods!

Original: watercolour pencils over pencil underdrawing (kneadable rubbers are a gift to mankind!), on white drawing paper. A4.

There was a bit of trouble before I got this one up. I hope that the quality is at least tolerable!

Not that this version doesn't have its merits, of course. Like the wee bit of tail for example? I think it was wise to keep it dry though. Rather grainy than blurry, I say!
