Tag As FavoriteComment		Somebody recently suggested that I should do more griffin pics. I thought that was a really good suggestion (especially considering that the last one was from 1999)! :) Once again stuck without any reference material, I kinda had to improvise. But the result turned out so well that I was afraid to add colour or shading in order not to ruin it. Maybe later. Also, I decided to give this griffin more of an attitude than usual... as the kind of creature who doesn't take cr*p from anyone. Anyone being a knight this time, judging by the shield and sword. So please leave your comments on this pic below.... or feel free to indulge in the usual gryphon/griffin and bird legs or no bird legs debate. (though I personally believe that a predator shouldn't have chicken legs)

Lovely picture, but I just have to say re: the debate. Perhaps in the land of make believe, there are different species of gryphon: i.e. those with eagle legs and those without. For example not all birds fly, and not all sea creatures are fish. I do love the drawing though and I know what you mean about not wanting to change anything, I have many unfinished projects just for that reason, I don't want to ruin them.

That's a great pic! When you look at that you can also see how much different it gets when there's no shading/colouring. Excellent work once again!
