| VIEW the line art For the Artist Emulation Challenge at Freelancers, a commission club for artists. I chose to emulate Alphonse Mucha, one of the prominent figures of the Art Nouveau movement who designed lovely intricate advertisements, jewelry, and architecture with such grace and intellect. I've always admired his complex borders, earthy colors, and beautiful figures. It was a joy to actually try something similar, since I normally don't do intricate borders for my pieces. I feel like I've grown alot with this piece. Aurora was a compliant model for this piece, her name being a perfect compliment to the theme of "Day". I hope to do Arashiko in this same vein with a "Night" theme, as Mucha was prone to do. Prismacolor Color Pencil on white cardstock with a touch of Photoshop for the background.
