I'm not entirely happy how this one's turned out in the scan. It took me an awful lot of time to dot every line and the result on the screen doesn't look like much. Maybe I should rescan it on the scanner of my boyfriend... I haven't decided who or what she is yet. Maybe she's a ghost of some sorts.. maybe an air elemental.. or the little Mermaid, melting into seafoam after her beloved prince rejected her ... dunno. This pic also screams 'Color me!' but as long I haven't decided what she is, I don't know what colors I should give her... Any suggestions?

Maybe she is the ghost of some woman who was murdered by drowning like in that movie "what lies beneath" I think it's called. When the ghost came back for revenge. With Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfiefer. She has a ghostley qaulity, but around her thighs looks like water or mist.

Hey, Birgit! Stop it! The pic is great! I don't know, what you want, my friend! This is a real good image from an ari elemental! If I look at her a bit longer, I think, the complete picture looks like Art Noveau... I lve Art Noveau! And hera face is pure fear... Birgit, you are good!

That is a really beautiful picture, I love it. I don't know for most of the colouring, but I really think that her hair should be a light blue. Not really sure why, it just sort of struck me as the right colour. Anyways, very well done, I love all your pictures!

Stippling is a great drawing technique, but so much gets lost when you reduce the image down for web use... I like this one!

Dont colour this picture it would not look right. The only reason i looked at this picture was because it was colourless and i think that adds character to this piece. My fav and its really well done.

I like this one -all round shapes! Reminds me of Medusa though, and the curse that was cast upon her.

I love this picture!!!!I do stipiling also and the dots never come out good when scanned.I think she looks like a air elemental or water elemental and various blue tones would work well...maybe watercolor paint?I know you can get soft blue colors using watercolors.Nice work!Keep it up!!!2

I like your idea on how it is the little mermaid... I think she looks like she's really in pain. (Great expressions!)

Well, i think what it needs are more shadows..mainly to give it more tone (in case u dont want to paint it)..if u do decide to put color in it i will suggest to use watercolors (only if ur pen was waterproof)..the dots wont show and the reason is because u will have to see it closely..dats the magic of stipiling..(faraway it looks like any other drawing put up close its a masterpiece.)
