Birgit Sauder

I was born on the 10th of June 1974 in Frankfurt/Germany and still live there. I’m a trained kindergarten-teacher and am now studying on the university to become a social worker. Well... I'm a good and caring person, yes I am... *evil smile* To live out my DARK side (and just for the fun of it) I publish a horror-fanzine, called 'Nightbreed' together with a bunch of friends.
Most of the art I will show you developed from working on that magazine...
My other hobbies include RPG's, Computergames (I'm addicted to Heroes III) reading (SF, Fantasy and Comicbooks... LOTS of Comicbooks), writing and a german fantasy club, where I am the member of an amazone-culture (I mentioned that in the entrance of my gallery).
That's about all what you'll need to know about me... except maybe that I'm the happy property of two adorable but eccentric cat's and that we three do our very best to get on the nerves of my very much beloved boyfriend ^_^

First of all Frank, my 'significant other' and very talented lifemate. He's a master of pencilwork, exquisite shading and creates dark, disturbing and wonderful art. Just by looking at his pictures, I could almost get frightened of him, but beeing a lover of the darker side of fantasy myself and knowing him too well, that will never happen, of course...

Tanja, who put's me in awe with her outstandingly beautiful style. Grace and sadness, love and loss - and a deep story behind each picture wich makes your heart yearn, that's Tanja. Don't miss her gallery!

Patrick, an extremly gifted artist who's pictures makes your eyes pop out for the sheer magnificence of them. He has a deep love for the norse mythology, which show's thru every piece of his art and makes it come to life once more. And the details.. boy, those details!
