Every one in the world must read 'A Dream Play' even if most of the translations do suck! The main character is a godess who has come down to earth to take human form so she can understand human suffering. At one point near the end of the play she comments that she cannot 'shake the clay from [her] wings'. It got me thinking that maybe we all need a little prompting to shake off the pains of everyday life and make the world a bit more than that continual grind.

Hi!

Thanks for your comment in my gallery! You dare to use a lot of colours, that's impressive! I got this suspicion... A Dream Play is by Strindberg, right? I suppose I should have read or seen it, being Swede. I haven't, yet.

Many of your pictures would probably be happy if you added background, but you do people with WINGS! I haven't dared to even try that yet!

:-) Eva N. Schiffer replies: "Hey Sara! Thanks for the comment. "A Dream Play" is in fact by Strindberg. I was short on literature credits for graduation so I took a class on Scandinavian Literature (translated into English) and we read all sorts of things. ^_^ As far as people with wings go... mine started off rather bad (if you look at "Rainbow Angel" thats one of the first) and then I figured I could use bird watching guides to get a better idea what wings look like. ~_^"

This is a great picture, contrasting all of your anime (which i apologize in saying, is NOT of the better quality) I hope to see more pictures like this from you.

16 Eva N. Schiffer replies: "Hello again Amber Ackley,Thank you for your comment. However, as I said before left handed complements are not particularly nice. If you want to say "I like this much better than your anime pictures." that's fine, but stop there. Generaly phrasing things like this is better than implying an insult (fewer folks will get mad at you)."
