You know what I think? After reading all your stories, I think that after you have a few more you ought to publish them, ala Patricia Wrede's Book of Enchantments. I'd buy a copy. Your fairy tales are so charming, the kind of stories I want to read to my (hypothetical future) children at bedtime. I've read them all, and I'm itching for another!

Hey, Ms. Schmidt, this is probably going to sound really weird, but, I think I know you. First of all, are you in 8th grade, and second, do you live in Iowa? If you'd rather not tell, or ifyou think I'm a kook( which you'd be right about) I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to intrude, but I used to know someone named Erin Schmidt, so I thought...yeah okay.lol. ttyl!

You know, I don't read Wyvern's stories. I feel bad about it sometimes but I just don't.

I read all of yours and I loved them all. I can see the influence from authors like Peter S. Beagle and William Goldman-- enough traditional elements to be tongue-in-cheek, enough twist to keep it unpredictable, enough care to make it sincere and not just a parody. Indeed I was touched by the ending of the Library Dragon.

And I like talking foxes too.

Your work inspired me to write! It opened a style that I never knew before... The 'Once upon a time' style. Thank you so much for letting other people like me admire your work and pick up a few tricks from the masters!

OMG your work is brilliant and funny. I was smiling at the computer screen trough out all of your stories. Very original stuff!
Keep it up!

Just leaving a not for everyone I can find in the library.

The Keys to becoming a successful author! Take care of them. - you must always remember this when you are writing. Sight, sound, taste, smell and feeling! They are simple, but many times, if you miss one of these, the book or story just isn’t what it could be! Don’t be afraid to describe in depth of what you see. Your readers don’t know your world. If you want to show them exactly what you are creating, you need to be specific!
