I like those authors too! And I love fantasy! No sci-fi for me, no thank you. Have you read Lloyd Alexander, Diana Wynne Jones, or Vivian Vande Velde? Robert Jordan is really good too, but his books are super long. I was tricked into starting them12 They divided the first one into two parts, and I didn't know that there were really 10 others, all at least 600 pages long. But after I read the first one I couldn't just stop, so here I am. Have you read Garth Nix, Gerald Morris, Eoin Colfer, Madeline L'Engle, Roald Dahl, Brian Jacques, or Nancy Springer? You should; they're all really really good. 2 Keep writing!

I LOVE the name Artemis! Have you read the Protector of the Small quartet by Tamora Pierce? It's my favourite by her. I love George, don't you? You should read Sabriel. I like that book. Gosh, what are some other fantasy books...I read too many to remember them all. Well, now I'm off to read YOUR fantasy stories!

Never let go of your dreams, Diana. I, too love to write fantasy and hope to publish soon. But remember, whether you are writing or reading (as I do all too often) both open doorways to the imagination. Keep writing and one day you will be guiding others imaginations with your very own words. 2

:-) Diana 'Artemis' Moon' Schmuckal replies: "Thank you for the very uplifting comment! I'll make sure to keep writing!"

Ah, someone else who has read the wonderfully offbeat Diana Wynne Jones! Did you see Hiyao Miyazaki's anime version of "Howl's Moving Castle?"

:-) Diana 'Artemis' Moon' Schmuckal replies: "yes, though I think Miyasaki is a great animater and made a pretty good movie. Its nothing compared to the book! ^_^Go Diana Wynne Jones!"

You like to read more than you like to watch TV. Amazing. I commend you and recommend you read these books: The Thief, The Queen of Attolia and The King of Attolia - they're amzing, and since I liked them and doso like the authors you have mentioned, I think you might like these - plently of lol moments! Really like your writing!

:-) Diana 'Artemis' Moon' Schmuckal replies: "Thank you! I will make sure to read those books, they sound interesting!"

Just leaving a note for all the Elfwood Writers!

The Keys to becoming a successful author! Take care of them. - you must always remember this when you are writing. Sight, sound, taste, smell and feeling! They are simple, but many times, if you miss one of these, the book or story just isn’t what it could be! Don’t be afraid to describe in depth of what you see. Your readers don’t know your world. If you want to show them exactly what you are creating, you need to be specific!

"you're" = "your" gaaah. I'm supposed to be a writer! Damn the English language and its' different spellings and meanings for the same words 1.

:-) Diana 'Artemis' Moon' Schmuckal replies: "lol! totally cool, I make stupid mistakes all the time =)"

Helllooo. I read you're "it was strange" story. Congratz on Mod's choice girl! It was very unique, but something about the way it's written reminds me of my own writing style! I also love Harry Potter (but who doesn't 10). We are kindred spirits maybe? 12

:-) Diana 'Artemis' Moon' Schmuckal replies: "thank you! Yes, lets be kindred spirits! It sounds like fun, eh? ^_^"
