SciFi and Fantasy Art Flying by Marcela Wander

This is the first picture in what i planned to be a whole series of faeries, but so far this is one of the only two i have currently finished. It is done entirely on the computer, as is much of my work, in Photoshop. Once again, the face is left blank, mostly because it's very hard for me to draw faces on the computer. This is the space faerie, something i haven't really heard a lot of. She's very cold, but only because of the harsh reality of space and her banishment from earth. You see, she used to be one of the earthen, elemental fae, soaking gleefully in the sun and dancing about merrily, but now she is forced seek refuge among the stars for crimes commited against her people. In times such as these, when she's soaring and flying free, she can almost, *almost* forget of all her burdens, reach for the wisps of freedom just out of reach.

25 May 2003	Hwae	Loading... Omg... I've seen this. I mean in real life. Couple of weeks ago. I saw this little glowing creature flying over our backyard. This isn't real. I'm loosing my head...
14 Jun 2009	Signe the anonym	Loading... WOW!!! Nice colour work! I could look at it the all day, without get tired of it! You are the master of the pencil too. Fairies look very nice when they are thin, but maybe you have make her too thin...? Maybe its just different from person to person. But keep going on the great work, and I can see the other pictures is great too!
