oil on wood 81cmx100cm or 31.89'x39.37' 'I sent my Soul through the Invisible, Some letters of the After-Life to spell: And by and by my Soul return'd to me, And answer'd 'I Myself am Heav'n and Hell.' The Rubaiyat of Omar Kayyam Edward FitzGerald What shall I sing to my Lord from my window ? What shall I sing for my Lord will not stay ? What shall I sing for my Lord will not listen ? Where shall I go when My Lord is away ? Whom shall I love when the moon is arisen? Gone is my Lord and the grave is his prison. What shall I say when my Lord comes a callin? What shall I say when he knocks on my door ? What shall I say when his feet enter softly Leaving the marks of his grave on my floor ? Enter My Lord! Come from your prison ! Come from your grave for the moon is arisen ! Welcome my Lord !

wonder why this hasn't been commented on?

You chose a very challenging theme here with a wet partly see through outfit and you seem to have pulled it off. What medium have you used here?

Hey, Great picture! The detail and mood of the poem at the beginning fit well with the mood of the picture. I was wondering, can you tell me exactly where that poem is from? I know it's used in the 1961 film "The Innocents" with Debra Kerr and I've been trying to track down where it originally came from, but with no luck. If you could post here under comments or something... I would love you forever! But enought about that, Back to your picture. I really like the quality in the see-through cloth you used, and the bird is a nice touch. Great painting!

VERY cool picture. The details are VERY, VERY good. It almost looks like it's going to step off the screen....nice work!
