| 1 Jul 2002 | Lyndell Stout | Loading......hmmm... the nose to forehead transistion seems a bit too small to me. However, the outstanding details in his costume and hair makes it easy to overlook such minor issues. | |
| 15 Aug 2002 | Doji Neriko < | Loading...I have only one thing to say: If Alderac's art division hasn't called upon you to do some work for them, they should. The fur trim on the mantle is a nice touch. Only a Unicorn could flout Rokugani taboos so gracefully.
Magnificent...simply magnificent. | |
| 5 Jun 2003 | Ningyo | Loading...Of all your pictures, I was drawn to this one for some reason. It very well could be the Eye of Horus on the man in the background or the story behind it. It's quite an extraordinary piece. I would kill to see this colored. He has red hair? That would look both awesome and quite interesting. I'm so jealous of the skills you possess. Wonderful picture, and keep up the good work! | |

| 9 Mar 2006 | Isawa Nazomitsu | Loading...There are so many intricate details in this picture that it's hard to choose which ones to praise. The hair style, the fur trim on his clothes, the tattoo on the man in the background, the hilt of the sword - they all combine to make a great picture of a complex character. | |
| 19 Aug 2006 | Dragon warshipper | Loading...What is up with all this Japanese stuff! *sigh* oh well at least this is a good picture. have you tried making copies of this and selling them? | |
| 25 Oct 2007 | Silent Speaker | Loading...i'm an L5R player myself...and I can't help but wonder. why a tsuruchi (wasp) and what looks like unicorn mon on his kimono? how can he have both? just curious. I'd be interested to hear more about his story. Sean C. Riley replies: "The character's name is Shinjo Taka. He is a Unicorn (the mon on his breast is the Shinjo mon) who, by special arrangement, spent time training with the Wasp Clan (this was before they became the Tsuruchi of the Mantis). As such, he is allowed to wear the Wasp mon on his sleeve as a sign of respect." | |
