His face just radiates the years of experience and wisdom that he obtained form practicing his art. By far one of my favorite pictures in your gallery if not all of Elfwood.

Another beautiful picture, and the Crane mon on his tsuba is a great touch. Keep up the good work, and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for your work.

Usagi Yojimbo....like the feudal japanese samurai rabbit? ::grin:: Good times.....anyhoo, the picture is absolutely awesome. I'm not talking "Dude, I got you a Coke." -- "Awesome."; I'm talking full-blown 'marked by or inspiring awe.' One thing that fascinates me about ALL of your artwork is the texture of the clothing. This drawing in particular also has detailing elsewhere. The tsuba of the blade, for example, looks like it has a Crane design. And the butterfly? Beautiful. The posing is great....one of your best in my opinion.
