| 12 Feb 2001 | Allam (neighbor) | Loading...Ok first off...don't listen to what they say in art class about techniques and if your teacher tried to pass on her techniques, then forget them as well (you need to create your own). Second, you have a wonderful ability to capture movement and positioning from what I can see. If you continue practicing with doodles, sketches, and drawings, then you will develope your own style, which you can then improve by enhancing it. You are only 15, and if you keep practicing then it won't be long before you reach a professional level. | |

I have that same problem, I always hate the stuff I draw, but you know..the only way to improve is to like what you draw! It's hard darnit! lol Anyway, gonna comment on individual pics! | 21 Apr 2001 | Alcides M. Sousa | Loading...The best way to improve your art is working hard, learning some techniques and believing in yourself. In my opinion technique is just a tool that you can use to express yourself, using your imagination. The essence of art is in your mind. | |
| 24 Aug 2002 | Anonymous | Loading...Dear steph I think your art is very well done, but that is not why I'm writing you.The tips that I want to give you are to try shading on your "elven princess" like on the lips and try to shade the back ground to make the face jump out more.Thats all Bye^_^ | |
