SciFi and Fantasy Art Draco glacies by Simone G. Des Roches

The Ice Dragon is the forth in a series of artwork I did for my AP art portfolio four years ago. The main idea of the paintings in this series was a contrast between style and subject. The former being of 19th century biological and informative type with details on classification and general anatomy; the latter being of purely fanastical and imaginative origin with emphasis on the unreal and mythical. The series is done in watercolour and black ink pen.
