SciFi and Fantasy Art Draco ignis by Simone G. Des Roches

The Fire Dragon is the eighth in a series of artwork I did for my AP art portfolio four years ago. The main idea of the paintings in this series was a contrast between style and subject. The former being of 19th century biological and informative type with details on classification and general anatomy; the latter being of purely fanastical and imaginative origin with emphasis on the unreal and mythical. The series is done in watercolour and black ink pen.

You use the ink and watercolor well, I doubt that I could paint/draw something so fantastic. Please check out my gallery, even though it is inferior to yours. Simone G.
