Is it just me or are your illustrations remarkably similar ( or simply your style, don't want to accuse you of anything) to works of a certain J. Scott Campbell, comic artist extraordinaire.

I like your work so far. I do have some comments however. I am an aspiring artist of some skill myself and am attending the Savannah College of Art and Design in a month to study sequential art (comic books, etc.) While I was down there I met a professor who also was inking Nightwing at the time (so you know he's a pro). He told me not to copy comic art as away of learning to draw. You can pick up tidbits here and there but copying pictures entirely isn't a good idea because you may be copying perspective and anatomical errors (i.e. learning the wrong way to draw) and it won't help in your creativity. He said the best thing to do is to draw from real life (both in the real world and photographs etc.) and draw from imagination as well. This will help you develop your own personal style and create your own dynamic art. Hope this helps.

Good overall. I'm also an architectural major. Have you tried to do any landscape drawings? Your architecture background will do you good there. But then again...
P.S. love the fairy!

Hi! I really liked your pictures, specialy Angie, but I agree with Dan. I think you should develop your one style, instead of copying other artists. Campbell's influence is a little too obvious... But apart from that, I liked them, they're so simple end clean! Just keep up the good work! 2

Hey try using comic characters as a reference don't just copy the whole body add some wings and then try to pass it off as your own ,and if anyone has even seen a danger girl comic they can see that all you did was rip them off
love dylan
