| 10 May 2004 | Duncan | You have a nice variety of styles. The portraits/profiles are very well drawn, but my favorite pieces are the ones where you use the red+black colours. Impressive! | |

| 30 Mar 2006 | Kim Walts < | Hello- I realize you might not visit your gallery that much any more, but I have something to tell you. This is really the only sensible place to tell you! Back in my early years of internet exposure, primarily in the year I was discovering digital art galleries, I found your piece, titled "Artou and K"- you know, the limited palette one. It must have remained somewhere in the back of my mind, because a few months later I created a character who I named "Artou", because I felt the phonetics were pretty awesome. That was maybe three or two years ago. Out of curiousity, I typed "Artou" into google:image and my eyes met with a distantly familliar sketch. So there you have it! I don't know if "Artou" means anything- I've even experimented with translators to try to find out- but if it does or not is irrelevant. I either stole the name, or was inspired to use it, from/by YOU! The link I've provided is to the site where most of my character's personality is (online, at least). So, thank you. C: Love, Kim Walts. Selena V. Burlakova replies: "Yes, I didn't visit my gallery often... But now I think I'll get it up-to-date again. You are welcome for anything - since I don't hold copyrights for names I can only tell you that "Artou" was really a name of a dog in russian book that I'd read in childhood.
