My school has a really poorly organized Student Game Developers Club. They wanted me to make them a mascot, but later decided that what they really wanted was to get a LOGO and then CALL it a mascot, so they didn't like my picture. There's a big difference between logos and mascots. As far as I know, they still haven't decided on what to use, and I don't expect that they will in the next year or so. But that's okay. This was an exercise in character design for me.
That's a coleco controller in her hand, and ... various stuff. As odd as it may sound, her coloring is based on this one little girl in the 3rd Spy Kids movie. Her coloring was just so beautiful I couldn't get it out of my head, and it was exactly what I wanted for this pic. And yeah, I'm a dork. I might draw this girl again, I might not. I don't know.
Pencil, ink, photoshop. Yup. It's a few months old, but I just got around to putting it up because of the Zone/Wood merge. ^_^

I'm going to try to make the grays more interesting if I ever draw her again, though."
31 May 2007	E.J.	Loading... This pic deserves more comments than it has! This is a very fun & Well done pic! Her colouring is very cool & I like her controller & key board there! Her boots are the Coolest! She would have made a brilliant mascot! Oh well, Their loss. Keep up the good work! ^_~ Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "Thank you! I think they wanted a logo, not a mascot, but it was very good for me to challenge myself by drawing this picture (since I don’t draw much science fiction/cyberpunk art).
