Tag As FavoriteComment		Back in high school, I had Paintshop Pro and a mouse, and I didn't CG very much because it took a very long time and was uncomfortable (CGing with a rightie mouse is no fun for a leftie). I wasn't very good at it.
I tend to have very vivid dreams. All I can recall of this one is that at some point I was a fairy with wings like stained glass. When I woke up, I felt this need to recreate that image, so I spent three weeks drawing and two weeks coloring this picture. It is still among my most labor-intensive works, and also among my most inspired, so it's become my signature piece. No gallery of mine would be complete without it. ^_^ And the title? I love myths. I particularly love the story of Pandora's Box. I have a story called 'Hope' that also references the same myth.

I *love* her expression and pose...and the coloring on her hair! The rest of my compliments have already been said 8 But have you ever considered giving her feet? It looks just fine as it is...I was just wondering if there was a reason. A very beautiful and inspirational piece, my favorite fairy in the woods 1

I had some serious problems with anatomy, though I tried my best to hide them. Thank you so much for your kind words, though there are a whole lot of fairies in the woods and I wouldn't consider myself even up there with the best ^_^"

She's beautiful. The colours in the background and her skin are so subtly pretty and then she has these beautiful wings, which for some reason, match so well with the rest of the piece. Hmm. She and my "joy" should form a happy club.
