SciFi and Fantasy Art Lightning Crashes by Lauren ´Selie´ Liebowitz

This is really, really, really unfinished. I don't know if I will ever finish it, honestly. It's been sitting in this state for the past couple months, and ... meh. I think I lost steam, partly because I just fell out of love with the lineart and haven't felt motivated to do all the hard complicated stuff necessary to color something with all these lighting effects. Especially the water. No, the water's not supposed to look right - it's unfinished. But I put so much time into this already that I had to share it anyway.

'Lightning Crashes' is a song. I like it. This was trying to illustrate it but I think I failed... pencil sketch, scanned and colored with Photoshop.

ONLY TWO COMMENTS????????!!!!???!?!?!?!?!?! does happy third comment dance people must be blind!!!! or stupid!!!! this picture is absolutely GORGEOUS. no kidding. i love it. its so powerful, and beautiful, and - i dont know, it really cheers me up. it makes me very happy to look at it!!! you are very very very very talented and i love all of your stuff to bits, but this one - i just had to comment, because i saw it and i just went 'WOW'.
