Really, I hate those scales. I know you wouldn't believe it, looking at the mermaids and nagas in my gallery and the fact that all of them have thousands of hand-inked scales, but I hate scales. This picture has the second-most scales I've ever done, and I was going insane.
This is the second of the naga commissions. No, I don't know where he got the idea from. I think it's kind of disturbing. He wanted a cyclops naga seer, looking peaceful and serene as she uses her powers to somehow see into the future. You have no idea how difficult it is for me to draw cyclops faces... I think I did a pretty bad job of it, but I honestly tried my best.
Penciled, inked, and colored with prismacolors.

Your modesty is almost as great as great as your skill.
Try not to put yourself down too much. Let ppl judge your work for themselves. Personly i think you did a wonderful job with the face and i commend you on your patience with scales.

:-) Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "Wow, thank you. That's a very nice thing for you to say. I don't think that I'm a horrible artist, but not a very great one ... and this picture in particular was such a challenge that I'm afraid I wasn't enough of an artist to handle it properly. Thank you again, though - for the compliments and everything."

The scales are amazing. I did that on some of my mermaids/mermen, so I know the time it takes. Very nice work.

The hair?Oh YEAH!Very nice scales, like a dress. Is it by any chance related to the ciclopse?

:-) Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "Yes, she's supposed to be a cyclops naga. A very, very strange concept. I can't take credit for it, really..."

Wow I like this. The pose is amazing! I like the one eye thingy looks way too cool!
Love Rian

:-) Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "The one-eye thingey was very hard to do ... glad you think it works. I don't know if I'll ever try a cyclops again, though - they're just so confusing."
