Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "I wasn't brave enough to try drawing hands with that kind of pen - I don't think it would have turned out. I had a lot of trouble with hands at the time this picture was drawn. Thank you for the kind words. ^_^" | |

| 29 Dec 2005 | Jennifer "Cia" Ellison | Loading...Very nice! I like the colors and the expression!... It is almost like she is sinking into some kelp or soft seagrass... Very gwell done and congrats on doing it in pen first,,, i am always a fraid that i will mess up and use a pencil always first! You did a marvoulous job....Ah and about the comment in french... Maybe she was thanking you for the pleasure you gave her in the viewing.... Lauren 'Selie' Liebowitz replies: "Thank you for the explanation - it makes sense if you look at it that way. I'm afraid to draw in pen first too, but every now and then it's liberating to throw the pencil away and embrace your mistakes. I'll never be one of those people who can draw entire complicated pictures in pen first, but it's good practice to try something from time to time." | |
