I would suggest using reference for what you can eg: sexy ladies, animals etc, to make them look even better. And not just for anatomy either -- reference can show you how light flows over a subject, and where shadows are cast when lit from dramatic angles. You’ve obviously got quite an imagination already and don’t need any help with that Keep drawing!

Just stopped by to let you know your cave elves and prehistoric beasts had inspired me to draw an elf and Smilodon combo of my own, and I see you’ve added quite a bit since my last visit. Nice story you’ve got started with Tutootsy’s perilous adventures. Samuel E Martens replies: "This is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my work. Usually they just say “Nice gallery, thanks for your comments.” Interpretation, “It was nice of you to comment on my gallery but your gallery is far to lame to make any real comments.” Emulation is the purest form of adulation, and seeing your work, I am really flattered. "
