Serethiel Does not think Earth really exists. Oh, But she knows for sure that Middle-Earth does! Yes. I reject reality. It is no fun.

hello, my name is Evelynn, and I am a fan of the LOTR too. Especially the elves. I do belive I am an Elf, wood elf, I mean, not the tiny shoe maker ones.

I definatly agree that the LOTR books are 1000x better then the movies (although, those are really, really good movies)

Technically, this is Middle-Earth, at least according to the Celtic and Norse mythology ol’J.R.R.T. based his own on. Which is a good reason to take care of it, and the trees, and never to apologise...the reality you live in is really what you make it. [nods sagely] One of the things I really admire about Tolkien (aye, I’m aware I’m rambling on a stranger’s page, but you looked friendly and if you don’t want to ramble back I’ll just bugger off again, no worries) is that he saw such horror in WWI - walked out of the Somme, even - and instead of being what his era thought of as "soberly grown up" and bitter about it he went home and wrote songs in elvish and stories about little furry-footed folk who were reluctant to travel but nonetheless brave...
