Neat gallery, you draw wonderful women, I love anything done in the goth style, and you really let it come through with the outfits & costumes you draw for your characters. Your portraits also look good; keep studying your facial structure more, sketch in public or study your own face in the mirror. Keep up the great work!

:-) Sarah E. Spencer replies: "Thank you very much."

Hey there! I've looked through your gallery, especially your work on the faces is impressive to say at the least! Keep it up!

Hi Sarah! I like your pictures. How come you never draw characters from books?

14 Sarah E. Spencer replies: "I DO draw characters from books. My Harry Potter stuff is in my Fan Art gallery, and Jean Claude, Dracula, and the Mechanical Hound are all from books. Plus our screenplay is pretty much a book by now (100 pages!)...so all of those characters should count. So maybe you should have rephrased that as "How come you never draw characters from books I READ" Miss KATE."

Your work is AMAZING!!! I swear I would never be able to draw like you! I have a question though. How did you learn to draw so well? I mean I’ve been taking drawing classes for years and I can’t draw to save my life!

11 Sarah E. Spencer replies: "Thanks! ^^
I’ve been drawing since I was very little, I’ve taken art throughout elementary, middle and highschool....and some classes on the side- I read ’how to draw’ books, but I think the most helpful part is that I contstantly look at drawings and art, and I keep practicing- drawing is my hobby, so I do it all the time, and I constantly find ways to improve 2
Practice, practice, practice and try drawing from life to figure out how shadows, anatomy and different forms work. "
