I can sense a story underlying this picture as profound, strong, and stirring as the picture itself. Well done, good artist. Well done indeed. LZ Draegeth replies: "And your prose, good writer, belies some excellent stories that I should probably read and comment upon when I have a chance. And I shall. "

The sowrd is phat, wicked stuff this piccy. LZ Draegeth replies: "Thank you! I'm happy to receive comments on my color work, especially since this is the only color piece in my gallery that I'm sort of happy with. I'm working on another painting right now that I hope will surpass it. I really love oil painting, I hope to get in a lot of time doing it before school starts. "
| 14 Aug 2004 | Maya R. Hirschman | Loading...Sweet. Just... sweet. You know what I realised, looking through your stuff? No, of course you don't, you're not a mind-reader. While being very different, we share an interesting similarity in both style and content. Fancy. Must be while I'm bookmarking you now. *mumbles* mmMmmMmm... drow conquerer... *swoon* LZ Draegeth replies: "You're very right, except of course that your gallery shows loads more diversity, persistance, and just plain moxie. But I do sense a kindred spirit in a lot of your work and comments. If you have anywhere near my ego, comparing me to you is a huge compliment, and I'm happy to take it as such. " | |
| 18 Aug 2004 | Ezra Urk the Gurk Fulford | Loading...don't most drow have black skin? D+D drow do anywhoo. LZ Draegeth replies: "Well, ah, that's very relevant, considering he's not a D&D character..." | |
| 23 Aug 2004 | Sarah Werner | Loading...I like this piccy. It is one of my favorites. the only thing I would change Were the nose (it makes him look feminine)and I think the hair is a little too floofy for a guy. Anywho, I like it a lot. LZ Draegeth replies: "Well, both those things are intentional. Elves (in my fic world) are a bit more androgynous than humans, and elven men are often perceived as feminine. As for his hair, Sacq'or prides himself on his thick hair, muscles, and good looks, all of which differentiate himself from his gaunt, lank-haired twin brother. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!" | |
| 5 Sep 2004 | Drizztraven | Loading...I LOVE THIS! it's so cool I'm gonna use it to decorate my binders for the school year LZ Draegeth replies: "Erm...that's very nice, but per the copyright notice, please limit yourself to one printout of the image, for your own use only, and please cite properly. I like having my artwork out there, but rules of fair use should apply." | |
| 7 Sep 2004 | Drizztraven | Loading...don't worry, I'll tell anyone who asks that I didn't do it, that you did (I could never draw this good in my entire life!) LZ Draegeth replies: "Thanks for your understanding!" | |
| 1 Feb 2005 | WytchFyre geishagyrl@hot...com> | Loading...Love it...I have problems using oil so i greatly admire you're ability to use it so well...He's quite yummy to look at as well! LZ Draegeth replies: "Thanks! Keep plugging away with the oils -- they're worth it, in the long run. Glad you like the old drow king. " | |
| 3 Jul 2005 | Angeldramaqueen | Loading...Amazing. So much so that I really can't come up with anything more meaningful to say. Just...very impressive! LZ Draegeth replies: "Androgynous huh? Oh, how he'd hate to hear that...not that it isn't a little true. I tend to slant all my elven/dark elven men a little feminine. " | |
