My colored version of "Mermyd" after many requests for it to be black and white, boring pencil no longer.

 

Anyway, I know you cannot see the color very well but get the general idea. I promise I will color more vividly so the scanner will pick it up better in the future!!

*First comment Splash! again!* This mermaid is very good,. About the colours: Why not try a pen and ink-drawing and computer-colour it? That will produce really bright colours, I can promise. 18

Hello again, Svenja! I mostly use "Windows Paint" to colour my pictures. Just be sure that Your scanned picture is in BNP-format and not JPEG. Also be sure that every area You want to give a specific colour is totally surrounded by an ink-line, otherways the paint will "leak out" (You can always "mend" gaps in the ink-lines in "Paint"12. Try to experiment a little, and good luck! 11
PS. When You scan the picture, be sure You scan in black and white-mode, and not in grayscale or colour mode!
