Thanks to Mariah for the suggestion of Ghouls. Yay.

 

All right, so the aim for this picture, my first Ghoul after much research (Fascinating, I would recommend looking them up), was to make the poor thing appear in agony. I thought he would be basically like a skeleton with a bit of skin and muscle clinging to the bone. Very tall, disfigured, basically almost to the point of mutation. I showed my mum this and she grossed out.

 

The head is messed up but that took me at least 15 wasted minutes...the picture in whole took about 40 - 45 minutes.

GAAAHH!!! I can’t stand it!3 Seriously, what is back and front of him? The left elbow seems to be folding the wrong way, for instans. But, that might be what You intended?

Oh, what an interesting subject! I, for one, really like ghouls. As Per Johansson pointed out, the left elbow seems to go the wrong way based on the way the shoulder comes down, but you know what? I really like this. It really gives a sense of grotesque impropriety that ghouls should have. I think it really increases the feeling of agony you were going for.
