SciFi and Fantasy Art phoenix by Sanna H. Hanskala

This is a phoenix picture I made very fast while visiting my friends with a scanner (I didn't have one myself) and good colored pencils (I lacked those as well). I made it for a very important person in my life because he's a Scorpio and I once heard or read something about the sign Scorpio having qualities of the Phoenix bird (death & resurrection). Someday I may do something about this picture. Or not. We'll see.

7 Nov 2002	Idwita	Loading... This is certainly "rough", i.e. not quite finished. Even so, I call it your best on this page. I too would love to see this done with the care and time it obviously deserves. Still, gorgeous! You connect the bird with the fire seamlessly.
