Stacey "SharpTattoos" Sharp

Stacey is a female tattoo artist on Long Island with a great love for fantasy art. :)

 

 

I started drawing when I was very young. Both of my parents were artists. Mom was better at people and the human form while Dad was better with animals. I lean towards fantasy art (a big lean) and a lot of my art is faery themed.

Most of my work is done in Prismacolor pencil with Tria Markers to blend and more pencil over that to add highlights and extra details. I also dabble with digital work in photoshop and mix all these on a regular basis. In 1992 I was introduced to a new medium, ink and flesh, and that is currently how I make my living.

I am Pisces, so things that make no sense to anyone else seem to make perfect sense to me. :) Logic is lost to me most of the time. Yes, I do believe in faeries. I believe strongly in things unseen. It's a big part of my spirituality.
