Great job! ^^ Annette M. Burke replies: "Thanks, I still have mixed feelings about the background, but until I can do astoundingly cool backgrounds, it'll keep the filtered photo. "

The only thing that I didn't like was the hair, it seems a bit droopy like it is wet. I love everything else about it though! Keep it up. Annette M. Burke replies: "Well, I decided that I didn't want to do the huge anime hair sticking up, and I've been noticing a trend in more recent anime/manga toward hair that lies closer to the head so I decided to tame down the hair, keep it closer to the head and let it fall straight down. Its lovely. HOW DO you get the grass like that? please tell me! *gets down on hands and knees and begs* its so marvolous and looks like she's standing in lovely long grass. i need to know how this was done. Annette M. Burke replies: "Yeah, Exalted is the only RPG I've ever done. This character's a Twilight caste (totally awesome one too, rock out on the spell casting, she had solar circle sorcery, if I remember the circle names right ^^; , been a while). The grass was done using a brush I created in Photoshop. Creating your own is fun, and looks a lot better than using the pre-made grass brushes in the program. "
| 11 Apr 2006 | Marcus W. Ager | Loading...I really, really like this pic and I'm not sure why 0.o. Maybe because it looks like it could have come right from an anime, and a cool one at that! If you ever do include this picture or character or whatever in an anime movie, notify me and I'll totally see it Annette M. Burke replies: "Well, I doubt that would happen, but thanks!" | |
