This is Erin Nagy's character Atorn, my very first art trade, and I had a lot of fun doing him. It was also my first time doing a character at night (background picture), so it was really interesting to color that way. I did do both parts of the picture separately and then put them together.

Noo! _I_ wanted first comment! Blast it all... THIRD COMMENT!! 2 Wee, I love 'im, he really does look totally professional. And I'm glad you had fun doing him, too! *now wants to see what the story in the background picture is... looks like an opening theme*

2 Annette M. Burke replies: "Um, that's my line. He's your character. Shouldn't you should tell me what's going on? It seems to me that he's being heroic in some way, but I don't know what he's facing. "

Damn I wanted first comment on this pic. Really love the night colours, I still need to learn how to do that, and I certanly agree with the top person that this pic is so professionall. Keep it up!!!

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "Actually doing the night colors wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I was surprised."

I'm so happy to have gotten first comment on this picture! *dances* The closeup shot is wonderful and your colouring style is very clear and proffesional.
Great work!

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "Thanks for the comment, and congradulations, several people wanted the first comment it seems. I was pretty happy with the way the closeup turned out. Coloring wise, I decided this was the best way to do it, even though I do it the hard way and it takes a lot of time. Glad to see all my hard work looks professional."

o__O one of the greatest anime drawings i've ever seen in Elfwood! this sure looks professional... my deepest congratulations.

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "Thanks, I put a lot of effort into making it look as best as I could. It was done for someone else after all. "

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "Thanks there goes to Erin for creating him in the first place. Everything I did on him was based on her pictures of him."
