Hmm, where do I start? I've been doing some RPGing recently, and these are all of our group's characters. (The RPG is Exalted if you have heard of it.) So, in the middle we have our tenatively wanting to be good, bad guy, who is quite asleep. He is an Abyssal Exalted, which means he's the servant of an evil Deathlord (they rule the underworld). He joined our group at the behest of his master, but the rest of us are Solar Exalted which means we are the servants of the Unconquered Sun. We always give him a hard time and call him Mr. Black even though his name is 'The Emissary Burned Clean of All Impurity' or something long winded like that. (He wears a mask and cloak and doesn't have any hair, if you were wondering about how he was drawn.) He likes to sleep in crypts, so we, the ever helpful Solars, help him without being asked. Aren't we nice? Um there's more to it than that, uhh. . . we're being mischevious again.

Cute! ^__^ bad, bad solars! ^_^;;

is that a perfect circle?

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "No, almost though. There are two Zeniths, but our Abyssal budy is the Abyssal version of a Night caste (Day caste), so. . . "

oh, this is priceless. ^^ Ah, the abyssals are so fun to tease, aren't they? Except when they can kill you. Then they're still fun to tease, you just do it from a safe distance.

Wonderful pic, good, clean line art. And as I said, I love the idea. Did you really do this? (because my group's obnoxious enough to try...)

:-) Annette M. Burke replies: "No, we didn't actually do this in game play. Our abyssal buddy was quite the interestingly funny character though, and if we had tried, he probably would have made an obvious effort to keep his distance and stick his tounge out at us or something. It would have been five solars against one abyssal after all."
