This little guy was about three years in the making.  I started out using a mechanical pencil and the wings were taking forever.  I would get frustrated and put it aside, often for months at a time.  I finally decided it was time to finish it and stayed up late one night until it was complete.  I changed the technique a bit, moving to traditional pencils and adding some depth by using a 6B and 4B.  The model was just some guy's face that I found on the internet.  He had the perfect Roman nose to work as an angel.

Beautiful....Im glad you ve finished it and I envy your patience to work with pencils...The shading is amazing and the feathers are lovely....I also love the contrast of his almost white skin with the dark background....Great job 1...
