	The surreal Terran landscape from Final Fantasy IX. This is only loosely based on Terra. Normally Terra is a beautiful blue colour. It is a shame that it gets destroyed in the end. The two firgures are Zidane (lower) and Kuja (upper), who are sort of brothers. Both were created on Terra by a chracter called Garland. Neither likes their origin, but both deal with it differently.

28 Oct 2007	Anne Wipf	Loading... I love the twisted rocks and the sky is perfectly drawn. I love the choice of a single colour, too. Beautiful style and picture. Shelz Keast replies: "I quite like the sky too, considering how quickly it was done and without references. The surreal nauture of Terra is probably why I like it so much, the planet's actually entirely blue. But making the drawing blue didn't look as good as sepia. The style is loosely based on Yoshitaka Amano's style, he did a lot of concept art for the Final Fantasy games. I recomend looking at some of his stuff."
28 Oct 2007	John R Farley Jr	Loading... Yeah, now this is very interesting. I like the sort of distorted landscape. It also looks like some old engraving which is even more interesting. Shelz Keast replies: "I really like how you liken this picture to an engraving. The picture was meant to feel old."
