SciFi and Fantasy Art Halo comic by Shelz Keast

My first (almost certainly only) Halo fan art and first really attempt at a comic. I've never played the games (there are now 3) so had to rely entirely on reference pictures. The car at the top is supposed to be a warthog and the characters are heavily based on Master Cheif, the hero of the games. I'm pretty sure there are purple lasers in Halo 2. I rember thinking pretty when my brother and cousin played last year, but then I also had a fever.

As Elfwood rules dictate here's a transcription of the dialouge:

Player 1: Hey, wasn't that our base you just destroyed?!

Player 2: I do what I want. I am the new Master Cheif! Go me!

Player 1:...Noob...

My brother offered a lot of advice (compared to the normal 'meh'). Like that the character tend to play on green locations after the ground was done. Or several M rated alternatives to Player 2's dialouge. If you're a non gamer, like me, and have no idea what a 'noob' is this web comic should be helpful.

Shelz Keast replies: "Thnak you so much! Very flattering to say it comes from a well illustrated book. I'm not very familiar with the game, aside from my brother's none to subtle hints about his Christmass present. I do suggest you find and watch some flash animations called 'Something about Halo', they're funny even if you've no clue about the game. I think* they're at a site called UGO player."
15 Oct 2007	Dave Cripps	Loading... Theres nothing better to do when you cant get anywhere in a game than to shoot your own side. Just to see what would happen. In some games your side seems invincible. You can blast them until you run out of ammo and they are still alive! Shelz Keast replies: "Can't say I've done that. I avoid 1st person shooting games like the plauge. But I do whatch my brother play, so I do know what you're talking about."
