From the video game Final Fantasy X. Kimahri is the coolest looking character in FFX, thought sadly no where near the strongest. (Once your characters start doing 99,999 on a regular basis you only want the ones that do multiple hits in their overdrive attacks. Kimahri's overdrives are all single hit, and only really good at the begining of the game.)

 

New Years idae: try to draw more of the characters/places/sceenes that no one else seems to draw. Actually started with Bran Bal from FFIX. Next will be Valfour (also from FFX, and also cool looking but weak). Not sure how to portray him/her so suggestions welcome.

 

I know there are a lot of flaws Kimahri's antomy, feel free to make suggestions on improvements.

wow he looks so cool! i love the colour and detail, i love his face he looks so relistic. the back ground is rely good because its not too complex complementing him. lovley work keep it up !!!

He is cool looking. Especially his face, I’m a big fan of anthro-winged-lion types. If all the characters look this good, I’m almost tempted to start playing FF myself.

:-) Shelz Keast replies: "Oh the Final Fantasy games have some really cool characters. Though mostly they are human. The summon creatures are always impressive too, particularly with the current standard of graphics."

very good, actually. ....um, heidi, he does not have wings, those are shoulderpad-type-thingies (I think, its been a while since I played).....oh well, never played it how would she know O.o

RONSO!!!! That is freakin awesome....I always thought the Ronso’s are the mos interesting characters in that game and frankly their version of the Song of the Fayth is better than all the rest!

Valefore became one of my strongest aeons when I leveled up my characters. I guess it all depends on how you play the game. I finally just got Kimahri hitting up to 9,999. It helps if you make your way over to Wakka’s or Auron’s side of the sphere grid. They both have a lot of Strength, HP, and Defense nodes. But from where Kimahri is at, Wakka is a lot closer.
By the way this is the first fanart I’ve ever seen of Kimhari! Nobody draws him. (He wasn’t my favorite character either.)
I can see you did the a couple of years ago - you’ve definitely gotten better since then at anatomical correctness. =] I like this, and I think it would be worth re-doing.

:-) Shelz Keast replies: "It actually depends on which of the two sphere grids you chose at the begging of the game. The advanced one is definitely better for Khimari. In my good game I got every one able to deal 99,999 to pretty much everything. By that time everyone is in everyone else’s grid anyway.

I don’t know if I’ll re-do it any time soon. I have a massive to-do list once I finish this semester’s uni work. There are a few other Khimari pieces on DA, but there is surprisingly little art of him."
