SciFi and Fantasy Art Egyptian Dreams by Sheona R. McCaig

Ancient Egypt has always held a great fascination for me - particularly the temple heiroglyphs with their invocations of gods and curses. She is the enduring spirit of Egypt that somehow transcends time..."like Re enduringly".

This is the first piece I have done in almost 6 months due to a combination of illness and studies, so I am undoubtedly a little rusty. Background (sky and water) and midground (doric columns and plants) are Bryce renders, the rest being contsructed in Poser. I wanted this to have a rich, warm feel that was reminiscent of the gold-laden tombs of the pharoahs.

I'm also a huge Egyptian anything freak.(also Vikings, Roman/Greek Gods) I know nothing about computer art, but, here's Ralph Miller's art wanted site, I think you'll really enjoy it.http://www.ArtWanted.com/imageview.cfm?ID=501098 If you can get onto it, I can't right now. I only have one nit-pic she's kind of floating on her toes, there seems to be no weight on them.
