Tag As FavoriteComment		Post-LOTR, elves constantly been portrayed as tall, very slim, and blonde. No more!!! This is what I think elves SHOULD look like. Alluring, warm hearted, with a depth that only their longevity can bring. The idea of an elf having golden eyes actually came from a wonderful webcomic called Inverloch (Inverloch - go visit it!), and I may do some of her characters one day. Also, expect more of this particular character!

The background is an abstract Bryce creation, the character is my first serious attempt at using Poser (yay!) and the lighting was added after in Photoshop. Very simple render, as I'm still learning.

That's strange, since at least half of the elves in Lord of the Rings were blackhaired :>

I think elves should come in all shapes and sizes, and I agree with your outlook. You have created such a depth of warmth in her eyes and demeanor alone. I love the lighting and her lips as well.

She reminds me of Aki in Final Fantacy Seven, I think it's seven....oh well! ;p You have a cool talent..I would love to do stuff like this, but I don't know how and I don't probably have the right materials to do it...^_^ Good job!

This is utterly beautiful. In a RolePlay over the internet, I play a character called Jason - a wolf trapped in the body of an elf. However! She is not a blonde beauty with the hugest chest in the world, she's actually rather subtle, like your art. Love this piece.
