Im not all that excited about the drawing itself...i was more trying to really move color around the screen...make it look like the warms and cools were reflecting off each other. So this is more of a practice than anything, but i like the way it turned out.'.......and YES, i did this way before i even saw the previews for sky captain

Not a bad pic, but the white halo around the image kinda hurts it a bit. The background could be reworked a bit to help set it apart from the character so he doesn't blend in with it so much. I like the wide use of colors and all the highlights you have used, kind of has an advanced cell shaded feel to it. Lots of draidents too, maybe try not to use so many on each part of the character? 12

Dig the highly stylised feel and steampunk theme. Is Joshua referring to the clouds when talking about a halo? I deem it appropriate he blend in with the clouds, for this is a man in his element.
