Yeah, her staff. Her scepter. Done with colored pencils, then scanned in and various lighting effects in Photoshop. Not only effects though; I did a lot of manually brightening areas and emphasizing some colors. I wanted to give the red lights a deadly and malevolent, almost sick look, and the green areas a glowy almost ethereal look. Some will notice a similarity between this wyvern and the design for Wyvern's Library.
