This is Kechara, a gryphon from The Mage Wars series by Mercedes Lackey. She is permanently held in the infancy state of her development, a strong MindSpeaker and supposed to have a short life. My first and pathetic attempt at a gryphon... and failed, I think. She does not look like a gryphon and does not look like a cute little infant. *whines* Ever color? Maybe.

I read the mage wars series... I own it now taht I think of it... she's exactally as I imagined her! You did her perfect. Personally, don't color her in, she's fine as she is. She's Perfect! And not cute, just adorable!

griffons are hard to draw. dispite the minor flaws of this one. Something about this drawing captivates me. Perhaps it is the large head and eyes. I dunno.

She's cute! I read the Mage Wars Trilogy. It was good.

Well, if you want to be picky, all the gryphons in the series are constructs. But for constructs, they can reproduce, so.... 2

And Kechara is more or less neuter, which makes 'her' more of an 'it', but from the way the speech and acting and everything goes, I suspect a somewhat more feminine standing for Kechara.

(that and the name sounds more feminine to me anyways!)
