Tag As FavoriteComment		When I do this picture, I want to creat an mood like I feel when I watch the movie 'The Dark Crystal' by Jim Henson. So, I place in a wood a gelfling-like musician surrounded by many muppet- like creatures listening to her. I do this picture with coulor pen and pastel on a green paper. I use computer to creat the light halo effect. Dimensions : 24 x 32 cm

I saw that movie and it scared me half to death hehe... well ne ways i really like it and it sorta gives me the creeps.

Somehow this picture almost gives me the feeling of a Siren... A beautiful voice meant to lure travelers into the woods where they shall be lost, just as the Siren's of myth led sailors to their deaths on rocks. It's not quite the same as the Dark Crystal, but its a very powerful image.

I was listening to dance of the sugar plum faeries when I was looking at this... it was so eerie! The fae looks like she's a zombie... but the lighting is just beautiful. There is definately an eerie feeling about this, in a beautiful way.

I remember the Dark Crystal... I think... something about a boy and some monster thingies that looked like birds, and scared the crap outta me ( I think I was 7 the last time I saw it)... tho I don't remember any scenes like this. But anyways. Its well done, and I love the coloring
