It is somewhat based on a Native American dance, I'm not sure exactly what's going on here, but oh well, you're drawings don't always tell you everthing.

Pencil on printer paper.

That... is a frackin' huge spear head. I like the way you used the clothing, earrings, and hair to create the sense of movement... and I love her expression, closed eyes and all. She seems smug to me.

:-) Sarah M. Durtschi replies: "WEll the spear is inspired by this one thing... I forget what it was, I either read it somewhere... OH! I remember now! In my World Studies class freshman year of highschool, Our teacher told us about the Hutis and the Tutsi's(I'm not sure if I spelled those right, or if they are the people I'm actually thinking of) and one of the groups of people had a leader that had the people have larger points on their spears and a shorter shaft so they could use it more like a sword, or something like that, and not THROW the danged things, because when they were up against the europeans they were getting slaughtered because they would throw their spears and then they'd be stuck without a weapon.

and I'm sure you didn't want to know all that, but oh well!

Thanks for the comment!"

HEHE!! SHARP POINTY!!! I love the detail on teh feathers on teh spear, they look so real, as does her clothing. Face could use some detail, but thats just one persons oppion and alas I am but one cryer *tear* owell, very nicely done...two and a half stars.

:-) Sarah M. Durtschi replies: "Yeah, I tend to have issues with drawing small faces. They never turn out the way I want them to. I'm getting better at them (this pic is at least a year old) but I still need work. "
