I'm a senior in high school who has lost faith in the english department.  If only it were taught in a more exciting, creative way, that had something to do with the actual subject of english...*sigh*.

But I digress.  About me, hmmm... I write mostly in my head.  It's easier that way, and the images that accompany my thoughts make my stories far more interesting.  I draw as well, but I don't boast any exceptional talent in that area.  It's just a hobby that keeps me busy...or perhaps, the word's sane.

My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, C.S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Terry Brooks, Piers Anthony, Shel Silverstein, Michelle West, David Eddings, and the list goes on.

I love fantasy because it takes me into the realm of the possible, where dreams become tangible, breathing entities.  I have a special admiration for dragons, gryphons, and elemental magic...but I love all fantasy.

I hope that by exposing a few of my stories to the public I will recieve constructive criticism that will help me become a better writer.  So please, tell me exactly what you think...I don't care how you choose to word it.  Be blunt but honest.  And if you can, tell me how I can improve it... I would be forever grateful!
