"Bochuin" by Jennie Lynn Brass, A.K.A Foxy


	His name is Bochuin, meaning 'swelling of the sea' in Gaelic. His stern expression and detailed scale work gave this sea dragon a look unlike any other that I have done. He was created purely in pencil. I was highly impressed... once again <seemingly as always> I wasn't trying when I first started sketching him and it turns out to be one of my minor master pieces.

It was my favorite technique because it was swifter to finish and polish off. It is amazing what you can do with a cheap Bic mechanical pencil. Thanks for stopping by.

24 Nov 2003	Amy	Loading... Oi! What a great piece. at first I thought it was any old dragon, but when I looked closer I was amazed. The tattoo and ruffle really make him appear like a pirate. How creative! I'm really impressed with this picture. I'd love to see another picture of him with his full body and background. Perhaps giving trouble to a few ships at sea.
