Isn't he cute? Just don't tick him off! In my version of the Enfield they are the size of Autumn fattened sparrows... except when they're angry. Then they expand rapidly to the size of their cousins, Gryphons. Taliesin means 'shining brow' in gaelic and was a legendary bard. He is the gaurdian of a queen forest sprite called Sithean. I roll play him on a muck called Flipside.

whoa! this is very, very different from mine! I like the little white spot on his forehead. Also the shading on the hindquarters. This is very cool!

Awwwwww!!! How cute! I like him! Very adorable. I like how you said he turns into the gryphon when angry. I can see that. 2 Btw, thanks for the comments in my gallery!

Legendary Bard is an understatment...many books have Talisen as Merlin's mentor

Actually he was British, not Gaelic. The most famous bard in Gaelic legend was Amergin, whose magic outdid that of the gods themselves.

<grins at all the comments> Interesting how words can become improperly interchanged. 2 Daniel is right, Taliesin is not Gaelic--he is Celtic, specifically due to his legend being Welsh. If he were Gaelic he would need to be Scottish, Irish, or Mannish <from the Isle of Man>. But, what is even more intriguing is that Amergin can only marginally considered Gaelic since he is actually from Iberia. Granted, he is the leader of the imigration of the Milesians to Ireland <mythically known as Ierne>. He would technically be the beginning of what is considered true Gaels. Mythology is so intertwined! It seems you could learn something new everyday and still not even scratch the surface!
